Sideline Coordinator: Jordan Beusse

Coach Beusse is the Sideline Cheer Coordinator for JHS & JMS. She currently coaches Game Day cheer and basketball cheer at JHS. She is happily married to her husband, Chris of over 20 years and they have two children at JHS: Caleb, a senior, and Sarah Bryn, a sophomore.

Coaching Cheer at JHS since 2008, Beusse has coached varsity football cheer, varsity basketball cheer, Game Day cheer, and JV football cheer.

Competition Coordinator: Christy Potts

After stepping away at the conclusion of the 2023 competitive cheer season, Christy Potts is returning this year as the head competitive cheer coach for both Jefferson Middle School and Jefferson High School.

A Jefferson High School alumna, Potts founded the Jefferson competition cheer program and led the Dragons for 25 years. During her tenure, Jefferson captured 13 region championships and finished in the top six at the state level nine times, including runner-up finishes in 2019 and 2021.

In 2021-22, Potts guided Jefferson High School to its first and only GHSA Class 4A state championship in competition cheerleading.
