Brittani Lawrence

Head Volleyball Coach

Brittani Lawrence has served as head volleyball coach at Jefferson High School since 2016, leading the program to its first GHSA state championship in 2024. Under her leadership, the Dragons have made multiple Final Four and Elite Eight appearances and have claimed five Region Championships.

Lawrence was named the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association State Volleyball Coach of the Year and the Athens Area Coach of the Year for 2024-25. She is a five-time GHSA Region Coach of the Year and has coached several Region Players of the Year.

She also serves as an assistant coach for girls tennis and the head junior varsity coach, helping athletes develop technical skills, match strategy and a strong team culture.

Lawrence teaches health and physical education at Jefferson Middle School and was named the 2024-25 Jefferson City Schools District Teacher of the Year. She plays a key role in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association as the statewide volleyball event coordinator and continues to promote excellence in athletics and education.
