Kimberly Boswell

Head Girls Tennis Coach

Kimberly Boswell serves as the head coach of the Jefferson High School girls tennis program. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Boswell is a 1999 graduate of Dade Christian School. She began her collegiate tennis career at Young Harris College, where she competed in both singles and doubles. In 2001, she earned national NJCAA rankings of No. 11 in singles and No. 7 in doubles. That same year, her team won the region championship and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament in Tucson, Arizona.

After two seasons at Young Harris, Boswell transferred to the University of North Georgia, where she continued her collegiate career and earned her degree. In 2005, she returned to Young Harris to serve as interim head coach of the Lady Mountain Lions. Under her leadership, the team finished as region runner-up in 2007 and earned a berth in the NJCAA National Championship.

Boswell began her full-time career in education and coaching in fall 2007 at Cedar Shoals High School. She joined Jefferson High School in 2015, taking over the Lady Dragons tennis program. In 2019, she was inducted into the Young Harris College Athletic Hall of Fame for her accomplishments as a student-athlete.

Since taking over the program, Boswell has led the Lady Dragons to consistent success. Highlights include a region championship in 2019, region runner-up finishes in 2024 and [insert year], a Sweet 16 appearance in 2024, and an Elite 8 finish in 2025.

CJ Weaver

Head Boys Tennis Coach

Clarke (CJ) Weaver serves as the head coach of the Jefferson High School boys tennis program, entering his second year with the Dragons. In his first season, the team posted a 6-11 record and finished third in Region 8-AAA.

Prior to his time at Jefferson, Weaver spent 10 years as the head coach at Gainesville High School, where he led the Red Elephants to two region championships, four region runner-up finishes, and two appearances in the GHSA state tournament’s Sweet 16.

Weaver brings more than a decade of coaching experience and a proven record of player development and program leadership. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, teamwork, and helping student-athletes excel on and off the court.
