Kyle Baird

Head Boys Wrestling Coach

Kyle Baird serves as the head coach of the Jefferson High School wrestling program. He brings more than 28 years of wrestling experience and is in his eighth year as a head coach.

Baird spent two years leading the program at Apex Friendship High School in North Carolina before joining Jefferson, where he has served as head coach for the past six seasons. During his time at Jefferson, he has compiled an impressive career dual record of 67-6 and has led the Dragons to three dual state championships and three traditional state championships.

Baird is married to Danielle Baird. They have two children: Hazel Montgomery, 12, and Oaklee, 3.

Nick White

Head Girls Wrestling Coach

Coach Nick White brings 25 years of coaching experience to Jefferson High School and is recognized as one of Georgia’s most accomplished wrestling coaches. Over the course of his career, he has compiled a 201-70 record as a head coach and has guided 23 individual state champions who have earned more than 50 cumulative titles. He has also coached one of Georgia’s nine Fargo national champions, one of the most prestigious honors in amateur wrestling.

Prior to joining Jefferson, White served as the boys head wrestling coach at Carrollton High School, where he led the team to three consecutive region championships and a top-10 finish at the state tournament. Under his leadership, the Carrollton girls wrestling team also earned a state runner-up finish in duals and placed third at the traditional state tournament.

White and his wife, Jamie, have been married for 23 years. They have two children: Judah, a junior who competes in football and wrestling, and Ellah, a freshman who participates in soccer and wrestling.

Coach White’s passion for the sport, history of success and commitment to athlete development make him a valuable addition to the Jefferson wrestling program. He is thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Jefferson family and looks forward to continuing the school’s strong wrestling tradition.
